Okay, I solved my kmail2 problems. It seems I needed to log into KDE2 at
least once. Having played with it for the better part of a couple hours this
morning, I must admit it is sweet. However, I prefer the smaller footprint of
Gnome/Sawmill.
I still haven't corrected the damn keyboard mapping problem, and I am hoping
there is a nice easy solution.
Pet Peeve of the day: Why are programs like games and such tied in so tightly
with base packages? i.e.: gnome-games is tied to gnome-base, gqview is tied
to task-helix-gnome. I am hard pressed for space on my /usr partition and
want to remove all the stuff I don't need on an office workstation and can't
see an easy way of doing so.
