No, and there are many reasons for this, breaking some existing software is
one of them, destroying a custom configuration is another.

If you want to upgrade the kernel, you must do so manually. You can use one
of the kernel packages available if you like, but I personally compile the
kernel myself so I know the options I want are there and the options I don't
want are not.
