I spent last night downloading and installing kde2 on my hail
system. Now my backspace doesn't work. How can those be
related?
In any terminal (eterm,xterm, konsole...) it won't go back and it just
beeps that annoying beep. How can I get a functioning backspace
back? Everything worked fine until I used apt-get install kdebase.
I've done this on another computer I have (on an identically set up
hail box) and have had no issues with my backspace.
By the way, it DOES work in emacs! But I hate emacs! :/
