I tried lyx, and I must say--it's the greatest thing ever! ^_^ Man, it's
utterly fantastic. I test-drove it with the following notation-heavy equations:
a) The definition of the definite integral as a limit of Riemann sums.
b) The zeta function
c) Several integrals from Maxwell's Electromagnetic field theory
lyx handled all of these in a standard or acceptable manner, despite their
unusual layouts. It's definately a must-have for math or science word
processing. Thanks for recommending it!
