Sorry about repeating this question, but I did not find a solid answer in any of the archives. I purchased Storm Linux a few months back (rain release), and at the time I was operating on a Pentium 75. I decided at the time to put Storm away until I had better hardware resources to run it. I have finally upgraded my computer (Celeron 500), and decided it was time for the Storm to hit my computer again. The install freezes on me (right after it completes marking packages for installation)...this happens in both graphical and text based install modes. I have tried several different partition configurations (I also have Win95 installed), using both express and custom install modes, but no luck. I have no Network card, and the modem is a U.S. Robotics 56K modem (NOT a winmodem...I had it working in Debian prior to this install) I have tried the modem in both plug and play mode, and set the jumpers for different com/interupt settings just to see if this was a problem, but once again no luck. Does anyone have anything to suggest? Thank you in advance, Chris _______________________________________________________ Are you a Techie? Get Your Free Tech Email Address Now! Many to choose from!
