I am using a diff email add., usually [EMAIL PROTECTED]
I just built a new computer a few days ago. I decided I would keep
storm on the old, and try progeny on the new.
I was unable to boot my scsi cd so I was unable to run progeny install
from cd. I tried borrowing a friends ide cd-rom and had the following
problem:
I reached the boot prompt fine, the I tried the following: hitting
enter, typing mem=128m hitting enter, noinitrd hitting enter,
combination of all previous, but no success.
Each time a typical linux boot message appeared, followed by a reboot,
after the reboot of course the progeny cd-rom is detected and boot
prompt is there again.???
i know that this is the wrong list, but there are a few of you whom I
respect enough that I thought I would ask here first.
ps. ~~ I would check out pure Woody, but I am in the middle of a buisy
time for next 3 mos. and would rather checkout the 'easy route'.
