Hi

The ifup eth0 returns: operation failed

I have the rtl8139.o on the disk.

modprobe rtl8139 returns: init_module: Device or resource busy
It suggests that it might be something with I/O or IRQ

In kdecontrol i can se that a unknown ethernetcontroller is detected with
I/O 0xEC00 IRQ10

If it is something with failed detecting my network card during boot, can i
then control/alter I/0 and IRQ somewhere in a config file?

best regards Lars
