[SLU] KDE2 etc

i recently installed hail   was trying to compile kde2 amongst a few other things and get the same error include confdefs.h   got the glibc 2.2.2 and linux threads addon pack hoping that would fix it lol but now when compiling it iam getting cpp: pipe closed errors   lol its a very vicious circle   anyone else had the same?
