That's one of my concerns too.

Having worked on a few Commons projects that use Maven, I definitely like
the idea of using it for Struts. The problem is that I think it's going to
take a *lot* of effort to convert Struts to be buildable by Maven.

I'm torn about the timing. On the one hand, I would also like to see a Maven
1.0 release before we start, not least because the documentation is
currently lacking, to say the least. On the other hand, I'd hate to see a
Maven 1.0 that was missing functionality that would be needed to build
Struts.

I've tried to keep tabs on what's going on with Maven, but to be honest, I'm
getting totally swamped with mail these days, especially with all the reorg
stuff going on. I feel like I'm permanently playing catch-up... ;-)
