Nit picking,
but WAS 3.5.2 is NOT completely Servlet 2.2 compliant, as I've detailed in
the install instructions. It fails on getResource and getResourceAsStream,
as well as not supporting security roles from Servlet 2.2.

RE: IBM Websphere and other app server
WebSphere **is** JSP 1.1 and servlet 2.2 compliant, that was added a while
ago with fixpack 2. There is at least one user here who has gotten Struts
working with WebSphere 3.5.2. There is a new version of WebSphere (4.0) due
this quarter (I guess that would be within a month) that is supposed to be
totally J2EE compliant.
Can Tomcat be used for production servers? I thought it was just a
reference
implementation that was only licensed for testing/evaluation and was not
supposed to be used in production mode.

Hi Sudhi
As Websphere is not JSP 1.1 and Servlet 2.2 compliant there are issues
which
make it difficult to use with Struts.
I attached the install instructions Dion Gillard posted yesterday to the
mailing list.
