This is a fine example of javascript, dhtml and iframes (an IE exclusive html tag). That is why it only runs in IE. I guess it uses the complete arsenal of IE only dhtml features. I would say this is OK if you are developing an Intranet application, but I find it amazing that a company like SAP restricts users of others browsers in the web.
