V, When you replied "Yes" below you seemed to indicate HTML provided some sort of built-in ability for multi-row selection in a table (not in a "select" control) -- I do not believe that HTML provides such -- however, you can indicate of rows in a table using a variety of input controls (checkbox, select).
In my experience I have used a checkboxes for each row to indicate selection and in some cases provide a "Select All" or "Select None" type of control. -----Original Message----- From: V.
