i agree that he should have read the manual and he should have searched the
web and blah...  but by the same measure, you could ignore his question if
it irritated you.  sometimes i have asked questions here and not gotten any
responses.  i don't know whether my questions are dumb or just off the wall.
but attacking people like this, you are going to deter people from asking
questions, which is what, i suppose, this forum is for.  i can assure you
there are things you don't know and might ask that someone somewhere out
there might consider to be completely absurd and off the wall.

having said that, i still think we should all try to read the API before
posing questions.  let's all keep up the good work.

How is it that you managed to be working on a struts application, and
subscribed to this list, and ask THAT kind of question without (at least)
opening a browser and searching the web or reading the user
guide.......or.....OR....running the examples that ship with the
distribution????
