Hi, I would like model somewhat realistic inner-city traffic. For this prupose I would like to know if driver imperfection is supported by IDM.
Although it is mentioned to be supported here <https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Definition_of_Vehicles,_Vehicle_Types,_and_Routes.html#car-following_model_parameters> . Upon first glance of the code (MSCFModel_IDM.cpp) and my own experiments, the IDM vehicles seem to behave deterministic. Do I oversee something and is the sigma parameter actually used in IDM ? *My simulation settings* - SUMO version 1.0.1 - "--step-length", "0.5" - 'vType carFollowModel="IDM" id="passenger_IDM" accel="0.8" decel="4.5" maxSpeed="13.8" minGap="2.0" sigma="0.5"' guiShape="passenger" length="5" ) Thanks in advance for your help, Lourens -- Sent from: http://sumo-user-mailing-list.90755.n8.nabble.com/ _______________________________________________ sumo-user mailing list sumo-user@eclipse.org To change your delivery options, retrieve your password, or unsubscribe from this list, visit https://www.eclipse.org/mailman/listinfo/sumo-user
