Dear Wesley,

It seems that there is an issue with fox toolkit version provided by macports.

While macports comes with wit fox toolkit version 1.6.53, hombrew has still
version 1.6.0.

Can you please try the following:

sudo port uninstall sumo
sudo port uninstall fox

then follow the homebrew guide:

http://sumo.dlr.de/wiki/Installing/MacOS_Build_w_Homebrew

As an alternative you might also try to build fox toolkit yourself and stick
with macports.

@Tom Lockhart: if you read: Is it possible to enforce a different fox toolkit
version in macports? If so, can you confirm that macports works if SUMO is
build against a different fox toolkit version?

Best wishes

Gregor
