Dear all,

just starting to get to know to Sumo, I have modelled the network for a quite simple intersection. I generated the demand via DFROUTER on the basis of countings at that intersection. So far, two questions came up:

First, what would be the suggested way to generate a realistic demand for a very small area in a city, where I have countings for one hotspot (the intersection) and have to care also about the visualization of the simulation (e.g. avoiding vehicles popping out of calibrators in the middle of a street).

Second, I've observed that some vehicles turn left at the intersection where driving on a lane which only allows straight or right movement. Is there a way to prevent this behaviour? I generated the demand with parameter departlane="best".

Thanks in advance
Myriam
