Greetings all : I'm looking for a geometric construction demonstrating that babylonian and italian hours lines are the straight lines we know. I did 'nt find in any book the precise reason why these lines must be drawn in this way . I've made some effort myself without getting a convincing result. I'd appreciate some hint from you.
