Dear List members,

This may be slightly Off Topic, but perhaps someone on this list can help.

The problem is that, although I can receive and open most PC files (*.gif,
*.jpg, *.dc, *.dxf, *.exe, *.zip) sent to me, the files I send as
attachments (except for gif and jpg) aren't usable by the receiver.

My computer is an older Macintosh with a 68040 cpu, running system 7.5.5.
There is a PC board inside my Mac with a 486 cpu, running Windows 3.1 and
DOS 6.2. All communications with the internet are through the Mac, using
Eudora Lite and Netscape 3.0 or Netscape Communicator.

I don't want to change my hardware, but would be able to spend a little on
new software, if that would solve the problem. Or maybe there's some
certain setting I could change on my current software.

Any suggestions about what to do or where to turn for advice will be
appreciated.

Mac Oglesby
