In Christopher St J. H. Daniel's Book on sundials (called "SUNDIALS" ISBN: 0-85263-808-6) on page 26 is a photo of a stone globe sundial. I would like some more information about this sundial. (1) Does anyone know the height of the sundial and the diameter of the globe. (2) What is the writing on the front of the globe I can read the part about the "GLOBE" but that is all? (3) The number for the 4th hour is it IV or IIII (4) The location of this sundial. (5) The year it was made And any other interesting information. Thanks, Roderick Wall.
