Dear Heiner, Sorry for the delay in replying to your query. There is a very useful book published by the British Sundial Society which has many dials which school children can construct with inexpensive materials such as milk cartons, plastic bottles and old bicycle rims. It also has plans for a clever direct reading Equation of Time calculator. The reference is: Education Group, British Sundial Society. Make a Sundial (British Sundial Society, 1991). best wishes, Peter heiner thiessen wrote: Is anyone out there aware of makers of educational sundials (perhaps with an international distribution) whose products are well affordable for tight school budgets?
