Dear Wolfgang,

You have come up with some most interesting
references to Kathleen Wright (née Higgins).

At last we know her Oxford College, Lady
Margaret Hall.

I enjoyed your calculations that lead to her
being born in 1926...

  Died 1 January 1999 aged 72, therefore...

Since she died on 1 January 1999 aged 72,
she became 72 between 1 January 1998 and
31 December 1998 - thus she was born in
  1926.

For completeness, she could have been been
born on 1 January 1927 and still satisfy the
known constraints! We cannot therefore be
certain about 1926 just yet :-)

As you say, her College should have a file
on her. Fortunately Privacy Rules seem to
relax a bit after death!

Yes. That is worth pursuing. I'll hand that
task to the biographer...

Alas, he is not writing a full-length
biography. He writes Who's Who style
entries for some publication and Kathleen
Wright is just one of scores of people on
a long list that he is working through.

That said, Kathleen Wright is turning out
to be one of the most interesting people
he is investigating!

Thank you very much.

Frank
