Thanks Mac
The software to generate these dials is available to anyone with an Apple Mac.
The package is called Nodebox and it's free. I can supply the source for this
dial for anyone who has a Mac.
Nodebox is a really powerful 2-D graphics package and is becoming available (I
think) for Windows and Unix with a fancier user interface

If you go to
http://nodebox.net/code/index.php/Gallery
you can see the amazing graphics that can be produced

and scroll to the bottom of that page, click on the Sundial you can see the
dial I am making for my brother…
(Click the link in that document to see about slanting fonts to point to the
gnomon foot)

I have had a lot of fun with the package
Best wishes
Kevin
