Hi Hagen,

I have support from SUN, and according to the SUN engineer, the Linux
version of SRSS3.0 is not stable.
He also prefer Solaris version, however, officially he will deny that the
Linux version is unstable.

In your case, you can move back to Solaris but I can't.

Subject: Re: [SunRay-Users] Gnome is crashing/resetting itself randomly

Hi Glenn,

we're using JDS2 and realizing similar effects - minimizing all windows
causes sometimes a session loss, for example. There's no real solution
we have found at this time.

The Linux version of SRSS 3.0 seems - in our experience - not to be as
stable as the Solaris one. And because it's missing some useful features
(USB mass storage support, SNMP monitoring) we'll personally move back
to Solaris soon, unfortunately.

Good luck,
Hagen
