Hi,

I am attempting to rollout Ubuntu Breezy Badger for use with SunRay, however, I am
stuck at the point of getting audio working.

After following the instructions listed at http://wwwcip.informatik.uni-erlangen.de/~simigern/sunray-debian/fcs.html and performing the suggestions in Dave Warnock's posting to this list: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg00760.html, I haven't had the same success of getting sound working.

My issue is that I do not get the $AUDIODEV environment variable, along with the utaudio processes running under the logged-in user. Although I had some sticking points in the setup of the kernel modules, I was under the impression that I got it right.

Any assistance with this issue is appreciated as I need sound to work to show "the boss" that Ubuntu can work under SunRay. I am also willing to contribute documentation and post it up somewhere when I get this to work.

Naaman.
