I'm not sure where it is in Ubuntu... How did you change it in the
first place?
In SUSE based distro's it's in /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager, but I
don't think that Ubuntu uses the /etc/sysconfig conventions.
Based on some quick Googling, try looking in
/etc/X11/default-display-manager

"utadm -l" will only list the subnetworks

if you used "utadm -a interface" you need to use
"utadm -p" to print the
configuration.
A 26D says that the DTU has all of the information
that it needs to
connect, but it is waiting for graphics traffic from
the server.
Did you reboot the server after you installed SRSS?
