Well finally I got it to work.

Laptop XP, running VMware 5.5 Workstation - ubuntu -
SRSS 3.1.
The wiki instructions are a great help.

The only problem I still have left is the following.

The Sunray client displays the ubuntu login screen and
I have no problems using the client (Sunray 1g or
170's) to login. It is actually pretty responsive,
considering the setup.
The Ubuntu login screen on the laptop/vmware - ubuntu
SRSS server does not respond to any keyboard action
after the client is up and running. Is there
something I missed?

You propably think, why is this guy going through all
is setup, future more using a laptop and vmware...
good question.

Again I think this is the way of the future. I'm
trying to show other IT professionals that it is
possible to use the SunRay technology in a Linux setup
as well....
lets hope Sun will come out with a new release of the
SRSS software with support for the latest version of
FC , Suse and ubuntu...

Happy New Year!!!
