hello all, since few days, some apps (firefox, acroread,...) take more time to launch: - usually it takes around 10 secs - now it take more than 1 minute (and nearly 5 mn if we use JDS instread of CDE) so the system become unusable for our users
swap is ok, load seems correct Here our config: SRSS3.1 with patches v440 S10 3/05 with latest patches v210 S10 3/05 id. machines are configured in failover The slowness happens only on the v440, so even if the v210 are less ressources than v440, people go to the v210 to work. I have the feeling that this problem is related to gnome and its libraries. The login with CDE is short, but with JDS you have to wait few minutes.
