Sounds correct to me. The only thing I restarted when I installed Java 6 and 
broke the /usr/jdk symlink (that the SRSS is using) was our own installation of 
Tomcat. I did turn on server verification and encryption (with hard mode) but I 
didn't restart anything (users just had to bounce their Sun Rays to get back 
in). I am assuming that a utrestart -c is needed to restart the auth daemon (ot 
stop utsvc and utds). Thanks for the comemnts!  -- Russ
