We have added ipv6 to one of our testing SunRay servers this week. As
far as I can tell it is all functioning properly except
utselect/utswitch. Running utselect now returns:
Error in startup script: unknown remote host
"2610:10:20:209:207:e9ff:fe59:ef45"
while executing
"close $lf"
(procedure "LayoutCB" line 77)
"LayoutCB"
(file "/opt/SUNWut/bin/utselect" line 299)
I have only been able to track the problem to as far as utswitch which
returns 'unknown remote host "2610:10:20:209:207:e9ff:fe59:ef45"' when
runing `utswitch -l`. The address it is returning this error on is the
one of the SunRay server I am running these two commands on and a `host
$hostname` does return the proper ipv6 address so name resolution is
functioning properly.
P.S. I have changed the ip address in this email to an unpingable
address. I can assure that the real ip address is pingable from other
ipv6 hosts. The SunRay server that this is happening on also has an
ipv4 address.
