Does anyone know the frame update rate of the Sun Ray 2's? I have built a V245 with a single XVR2500 Graphics Card. I'm running Solaris 10 with latest OpenGL. I also have the latest version of SRSS 4.0 configured.
I installed the Sun Visualization on the same V245. The application I am running is called Socet GXP, this is a Electronic Light Table Imagery program. The application tiles images and uses OpenGL as you navigate and manipulate the image. I configured the visualization software using the install guide for my configuration. The main problem is that I am not getting the performance I expected, the application does work, but it is very jerky. Is anybody in the list using the Sun visualization, I don't know what to expect. The performance is not up to usable levels. I also tried to connect from a remote Sun Ray server to use the Sun Ray plug-in, but I was not able to make this work. This of course is a configuration issue. All comments would be appreciated.
