I agree, the experience is much better with the patches but as a "geek" I can use the devices without problems. You place these devices on a faculty or staff desk, or a lab station and you can see how the use will vary -- they don't care -- if you can get to the site you should be able see the videos.

My LAN performance improved *significantly* once patch 127554-01 was
applied to SRSS 4 09/07.  Still not something I would watch YouTube
videos on at full screen, but a fantastic solution for more reasons
than I will bore you with.
