KVM's actually interfere with EDID data propagation so that
the Sun Ray is left without any info from the display unit
This problem is not limited to Sun Ray's I have it with my Solaris
console 24 " screen as well, and need to put Modelines in the xorg.conf
So the KVM does not supply incorrect data , it stops the from passing
through.
