This issue seen sometimes but no consistent reproducible test case.
One of the following workarounds works according to CR#6175908.
- Run 'utrestart'
- Run 'utadm -r' and then configure the interface again
- Reboot the server
[6175908 Sometimes Sun Ray DTU hangs at 26D after configuring the
interface (-a) on solaris/linux]

I have done a clean install of Ubuntu 8.04 still getting to 26D and
stalling.
My Sun Rays fill /var/log/messages with this:

This is all terminals (eg happens to 192.168.128.239 as well).
Setup is all Sun Rays connected to a sun ray only switch on eth 1
192.168.128.1
I ran
utadm -c
utadm -a eth1
My dhcp3 server seems ok.
The terminals are not showing up in the web interface.
What have I missed?
