I have just updated one of our Ubuntu intrepid (8.10) systems to 9.04 (jaunty) and haven't identified that anything is crashing. In fact everything seems to work fine and the HOWTO I once created for installing SRSS 4.1 on an Ubuntu intrepid system (http://wiki.sun-rays.org/index.php/SRSS_4.1_10/08_on_Ubuntu_8.10_Server_%28i386_and_amd64%29) seems to be fine for a jaunty (9.04) system as well. Are you sure you have set the xkb extension for all of your session? Try to run "sudo /opt/SUNWut/bin/utxconfig -a -k on" to make sure the XKB extension is enabled per default (this is also documented in my Ubuntu HOWTO). regards, jens -- Jens Langner Ph: +49-351-2602757 Forschungszentrum Dresden-Rossendorf e.V.
