That's not much to go on. Some obvious questions:

SPARC or X86, some details of the hardware configuration?
Dedicated network or shared? Does network activity continue once hung?
What's the network topology?
Operating system (e.g. Oracle Solaris, Linux, Open Indiana, other?), version and patch level?
Level of SunRay server?
More specifically what is happening when it hangs?
Anything in the log files?
Any on-screen indications of what has happened?
Is the entire server hung, or just the SunRays? (i.e. does DHCP continue to dispense leases?) Have you been able to recover any functionality without rebooting?
New installation, or it was running fine until ...?

If I had to guess, with no information at all, it would be that there's a network problem -- e.g a flakey switch or NIC. (let's see how close I come once the facts are in!)
