Kiosk mode enabled with custom uttsc wrapper

My custom wrapper paints a security classification warning and instructions to
insert a smartcard to continue for each pseudo.<MAC> token. For other tokens,
it starts up the uttsc script supplied with SRS.

The pseudo session sits at the banner screen for long periods. I'm not to
concerned about burn-in since LCDs don't tend to have that problem. What I am
looking at is the impact on load balancing within the server group.

Since I use yaf-splash to display the instructions and wait, I thought that
using the -timeout option with a random interval might be a good approach. I
put in the code and assigned the test script to a DTU and my smartcard. Testing
proved that everything works as expected. So what's the problem?

Well, looking at /var/opt/SUNWut/log/messages, there seems to be a lot of
activity related to the kiosk script exiting, the kiosk session getting torn
down and a new kiosk session getting built on another member of the group. Now,
that's not really a big problem for a few DTUs, but I have 1100! I've disabled
this feature until I can get a little help from my friends (sorry, John L.!).
SO, what do think? Is this sort of thing necessary? Am I creating to much churn
in my server group for little value? On most days, I have about 400 running
uttsc and 700 with the "idle" DTU display.

Thanks in advance!
