Guillaume, I actually tried jOpenRay briefly, but did not get very far with it, just due to IT/firewall stuff. I wonder, could jOpenRay be persuaded to work on AIX, OpenBSD etc. or is it very much tied to Solaris. I have no intention of dropping Solaris, but just curious about other platforms too.
