   Yes.

There are still a lot of operational Sun Rays in The Netherlands so I
would be nice if Oracle would opensource the software. In the past there
were some issues with this so it was not on Jonathans list to opensource
it but now seems to be a good time to do it.

   This is a good idea.  If the owner of this list doesn't want to do this, I
volunteer to host a replacement list, as I have that capability here.

having in mind how oracle dealt with the opensolaris community and the solaris community in general i am quite pessimistic about that "open sourcing" of the sun ray bits.

oracle is not interested in communities, educating the young minds, nor innovation -- they just want money... "only money" as it was said.

it should have been ibm winning that deal -- oracle is killing the Sun culture, it could have not been more bad.
