I thought you all may be interested in this reply to a followup e-mail I sent to Powerlogix. Both e-mails are reproduced here. (My last question, regarding a trade up credit program that he says he is not aware of, was listed on their site back when I sent the first note 4 months ago.)

As of today the design is finalized. Now we just have to build them. We are waiting for PowerLogix to get the information to the build house. I have no feel for how quickly this will take place. It should only take a couple of weeks but that has already passed. I hate to keep telling you this but please check back with me in 2-3 weeks. The product should work in the Umax unless the final specs have changed (I don't think they have). I don't know what trade in credit you refer to. PowerLogix no longer offers a trade in credit.
