As of 2 AM Friday the 19th I started getting approximately ten per hour.
The volume has dropped off a fair bit, but it's still high and extremely irritating.
There's a new worm on the loose.

Funny how I use Outlook Express on XP and I don't see any of these messages!

Folks with OE are no more likely to receive the messages. It's folks with OE who are likely to have their machines hijacked and be the unwitting originators of those messages. No, I don't mean you, Dan. I'm sure you're careful about opening attachments, probably have an up to date virus scanner installed, and have turned off OE's default setting of opening all attachments.

But for many, many newbie and/or unsophisticated users, they either don't have virus software or don't keep it up to date, which I have trouble blaming them for. The real problem is OE coming with "automatically open attachments" as the default setting. It appears that the folks who write OE and related products have never been on the net or something.
