Hi All;
I just finished a OS9.1 reinstall on a friends S900. All seems OK 
except the window scrolling is the old style: a triangle at the top 
and bottom and no "A to Z " reversal Triangle on the, top above the 
scroll column.

Am I correct in thinking the normal OS9.1 scroll bars are:" Both Up 
and Down triangles at the bottom and a "Reversal triangle" at the top? 
Or have I put some forgotten modification in my System? That is the 
way my other installations from the same CD work.



What am I missing here? Did I fail to do something prior to the 
install? Or did something fail to install? Or did some file get 
corrupted during install?

There is a control panel setting (or perhaps finder settings) which 
lets you choose which style of Scrolling arrows you would like. I no 
longer use OS 9.x and am too busy working on other things to boot into 
OS 9.x to check which control panel this is. Perhaps general controls 
or not sure. Sorry I can't be more helpful. At least you know it's 
nothing to worry about and just requires a settings change. Someone 
else likely will have the info needed for changing the setting.  Will S
