I just finished a OS9.1 reinstall on a friends S900. All seems OK except the window scrolling is the old style: a triangle at the top and bottom and no "A to Z " reversal Triangle on the, top above the scroll column.
Am I correct in thinking the normal OS9.1 scroll bars are:" Both Up and Down triangles at the bottom and a "Reversal triangle" at the top? Or have I put some forgotten modification in my System? That is the way my other installations from the same CD work.
What am I missing here? Did I fail to do something prior to the install? Or did something fail to install? Or did some file get corrupted during install?
I only notice a problem as noted. The scrolling works but is vintage OS8.1( I don't have OS8.5).
To do the install, I used "Clean Install Assistant" to make a copy of the "Foreign Stuff" in his system folder and then copied his hard drive to my 120Gig. Then initialized his drive and did a normal Install. Then put the saved stuff back with "Clean Install Assistant". I still have a copy of his Hard Drive.
Any comments are appreciated, TIA, Ernie
