[SM] Drowning in OS info!

I've been running OS 8.5 happily for quite some time, but to connect my 
ethernet modem I need to upgrade to OS 9. My S900 has a G3 processor and 
the HD is formatted with HD Toolkit. I've been looking at OS 9 on 
e-bay...yikes! I'm confused about what I should look for and what will 
be compatible for my system. Any help would be appreciated!
