Hi,
I have been running Jaguar for 6 months on this S900
with an IBM UltraStar SCSI drive, G3 zif carrier 440
mhz and 400+ megs RAM. Recently, my wife complained
about the speed of my beloved frankenmac, and I
purchased a Western Digital Special Edition 120 gig
drive hoping it would speed things up. I installed a
Sonnet ATA-66 card in the second PCI slot from the
top. The topmost slot is currently holding an ATI
XClaim VR 128 video card. The S900 boots OS9 just
fine from the drive, but each attempt to boot OS X
using XPostFacto fails, and the computer ultimately
boots up into OS9 after timing out in the OS X boot
process. I partitioned the 120 gig drive 75 gigs for
Jaguar/Users and 40 gigs for mass storage. Any ideas
what I am doing wrong?
Thanks for an awesome list.
George
