SCSI termination is fun!!!!

There is a possibility that termination is a possibility on the drive
instead of relying the controller to do so. I have a question about the
drive though.......does it spin up or anything.........cause if it does
then it probably works.......scsi drives are hard to kill....very hard
to kill.......especially the older ones

So if the drive spins up at all.......then the drive might be
aight......My Barracuda's all have option for termination on the
drive....i own about 15 drives total......all still working

Check the termination..........

On that note......termination doesn't denote that a drive is
unsupported.....it mainly has to do with the driver that your disk
formatting utility is using....since the disk tools image you are using
is fairly old......then in all likelihood the drive will work you just
need a newer version of disk tools........one from an 8.5 cd should do
it.....maybe 9.1 even

Just some thoughts from a scsi laden person
