Not sure this makes a diff but the X startup screen when using xpost is much
cleaner then from doing a cold start or reboot. Usually then the vertical
lines then are kinda scrambled.
Scrambled screen can mean your Video RAM on your Video card is being pushed too hard/ fast. You could test by de-interleaving your RAM which will slow things down a bit.
This can also be caused by over clocking your cpu too fast for your Video card which can be an issue with the Twin Turbo card. I'd forgotten you were running your Sonnet cpu in a XLR8 carrier card all the more reason to be using the powerlogix software.
There is no OSX software for the Twin Turbo nor Ultima Rez Video cards.Will S
