Well Paul,

I've been at this so long that I guess I just took it for granted that you
always download and install the latest drivers anytime you add new hardware
to your system. Everybody knows that. Call it a senior moment.

In my case, it was a year ago and Intech hasn't updated their firmware
since.

I'd read somewhere, sometime, that there is a way to adjust the speed of the
data from the hard drive so that it wouldn't hang. I thought it was from
Intech's HDST. They do have a button that says "Tune" but, when I click on
it I get the message, "Sorry, there are no driver options available for an
ATA->SCSI PCI card." Oh well, back to the ol' drawing board.
