On my S900 (G450, 900 something megs of ram, audiomedia III card), I'm having
trouble
with audio editing. I can bring sound in through the AMIII card when I'm using OS
9.1.
But when I try to use any of my filtering programs, it picks up lots of weird
distortions
and drop outs. I used to do this on my old C600 with a MacTell 280 G3. It all worked
fine on that machine. Is there something about the G4 processor that is messing with
my
filtering programs?
I've been trying to get the audiomedia card to work with OS 10.2. I put in
the specified
drivers from Digidesign, but the card isn't recognized.
Hey, Revolution! You're a sound guy. Are you still out there? I've lost
your email
address when I switched computers. Drop me a line!

Mike
