Oh, yeah. It was the Digidesign SystemsInit extention and the I/O
extension. I replaced them with the newer, proper version, and the problem
went away. Except now the Audiomedia III card doesn't show up in the sound
panel. So now my software works, but I have no sound input or output except
the crummy jacks that came with the computer.
I guess I'll go back and surf the Digidesign website some more and see
what I can find.
