Dear Phillip,
I noted on the Supermac List that you had a LaserJet 6MP working
with a Belkin parallel to USB cable. I just bought a no-name cable from
Cyberguys, UsB to Parallel and got it to work with a Lexmark Optra R+ in OS
10.3 though it seemed to be a bit off and on, until I unplugged my
connection to my other printer a LaserJet 6MP through an Asante, Apple Talk
to Ethernet device. I can't however, get it to work in Classic as the Laser
Jet 8 in the Chooser requires Apple Talk. Any suggestions? Or from anyone
else on the list. This cable is Usb 1.1 is the Belkin USB 2.0? Are there
any special drivers around for the Belkin and Apple machines?
